I’m Harper — a slow-living advocate, minimalist at heart, and firm believer that plants make everything better. My approach to plant decor is simple: create calm, meaningful spaces with fewer, better things—and always make room for a little green.
My journey into plant styling started when I moved into my first apartment after college. I was craving a connection to nature but didn’t have a yard or much sunlight to work with. I bought a snake plant and a single trailing pothos… and something clicked. From that point on, I became fascinated with the way greenery could soften a space, purify the air, and completely shift the mood of a room.
I’m drawn to clean lines, soft neutrals, and natural textures like linen, clay, and wood. My style leans Scandinavian-meets-California with a touch of cozy cottagecore. But at the heart of everything I do is sustainability—because I believe a beautiful home shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet. I’ll always choose secondhand furniture, natural materials, and eco-conscious plant care whenever possible.
I’m here to share plant pairings that work with your light and lifestyle, low-maintenance styling ideas, and ways to bring intention and tranquility into your space. Whether you live in a city apartment or a tiny house in the woods, there’s always a way to make room for nature.
Outside of writing and styling, you’ll usually find me brewing herbal tea, tending to my compost bin, or sketching layout ideas in my notebook while curled up with my cat and a good book.
Let’s create something green, grounded, and gorgeously simple—together. 🌱
